休斯顿3月28日讯星光云集、名流穿梭的姚明基金会慈善晚宴于3月28日在休斯顿艺术博物馆举行。休斯顿的社会上流、姚明的队友休斯敦火箭队的老板、著名退役中锋穆托姆博、现役中锋斯科拉等、闻名全美的中餐大厨Ming Tsai以及格兰美提名歌星Michael Cavanaugh都汇集在休斯顿艺术博物馆，为iTalkBB新电信与姚明基金会合作2010慈善晚宴增添了一道亮丽的风景线。
慈善晚宴以中西合璧的佳肴呈现，由亚裔名厨Ming Tsai特别设计，姚明亲自在宴会上向嘉宾展现了中国传统名吃“北京烤鸭”的制作流程，让到场嘉宾啧啧称赞。通过一道菜，向众人展示中国传统文化的魅力，姚明的表现给嘉宾们留下了深刻的印象。尤其是晚宴独家设计“与姚明一同体验”的拍卖，包括姚明独家提供与5个小孩子一块进行篮球训练，还有与休斯顿球星一道坐私人飞机到上海参加火箭队的表演赛等。
“共同成就，我们在一起”，秉承iTalkBB新电信一贯“为海外华人提供更好的生活服务”的宗旨，与姚明基金会的携手，进一步深化了双方共同的理念。姚明在接受凤凰卫视独家采访时表示：“iTalkBB是全美非常有名的公司，在华人圈里有很大的影响力。非常高兴他们能给我们这么大的帮助，实现今晚的慈善晚宴。通过这次成功举办筹款晚会，我们相互之间增进了信任和默契，我们会更加紧密的沟通和合作。” 同时姚明也表示，我们正在策划针对美国和中国教育交流的新项目，希望能在未来的一段时间内帮助更多的中美学生，促进中美两国的文化互渗。
