这一期将隆重给大家介绍关于大学生国际志愿者海外交流实习项目的相关情况，以及2017年赴美实习的优秀学生的一些感言，让我们一起来期待吧！
项目介绍
大学生国际志愿者海外交流实习项目（美国），即 International Volunteers Exchange & Enrichment Program(USA)，简称IVEE，是由吉林省教育国际交流服务中心主办，依据大学生个人兴趣爱好及未来职业发展方向，经过面试及双向选择匹配，进入美国的企业、学校、社会团体、非营利性机构，与美国同事及其他国家志愿者并肩开展为期4/6/8周的志愿实习和实践活动，项目全程入住美国家庭。该项目旨在帮助青年大学生提高跨文化沟通和交际能力，培养跨文化观念与服务社会的意识，提高英文沟通技能和工作技能，获得在美职场体验，了解美国相关领域的发展运作模式及先进的管理方式。此外，参加项目的同学还可以利用闲暇时间，参观美国大学、游览风景名胜，从而更加深入的了解美国风土人情,充分体验美国的多元文化。积累在美社会资源及人脉关系，参加项目的学生将被安排与当地美国家庭或国际学生一同生活。
项目收获
1.职业规划的实践课，有助于确定职业目标；
2.提升就业竞争力；
3.社会角色转变的平稳过渡；
4.为留学深造增加砝码；
5.时间长度可选、地点可选、行业可选的定制项目；
6.在项目结束后，可获得实习证书，表现优异者，可获得企业推荐信。

参与角色：教学助理、活动助理
文化艺术类
匹配机构类型：艺术馆、剧院、沙龙、画廊及其他艺术团体等
参与角色：演出排练、文化推广助理、舞台助理
行政管理类
匹配机构类型：基金会、行政组织、社会活动团体等
参与角色：行政助理、市场活动助理、项目推广助理
社会工作类
匹配机构类型：博物馆 图书馆、社区服务活动中心、儿童及老年服务机构等
参与角色：项目助理：活动助理
其他类
匹配机构类型：医院、护理中心、环保组织、建筑机构等
参与角色：项目助理、项目运行
1.项目时间：2018年内任选时间；
2.项目地点：美国东海岸、西海；五大湖地区、南部地区（申请人自选）；
3.项目周期：4、6、8周（申请人自选)；
4.住宿安排：入住美国寄宿家庭；
项目申请
1.年满18－30周岁的全日制在校大学生，学习成绩优良、在校表现良好；
2.具备基础的英语沟通能力；通过主办方资格筛选及面试；

12.13项目说明会、初级资格审核面试；
12.15下发初级资格审核面试成绩单；
12.17确认报名；
12.18办理报名手续；

真正拉开差距的 不是智商
智商只是一部分因素，后天培养和建立起来一些能力和习惯，会影响甚至是决定了你的一生。
自律，就是抵抗外界诱惑、自我约束的能力。
很多人的经历各有不同，却都有着同样的结果：因为不自律，他们失去选择人生的权利。自律的人，每天强迫自己早睡觉，睡眠质量有了改善，注意力更加集中；每天阅读半小时，腹有诗书气自华；每天坚持运动，这些习惯使你的精神面貌焕然一新。自律的人清楚该做什么不该做什么，他们未来的道路也会因此变得越来越清晰，进入理想的轨道，让自己慢慢变得有能力去获得想要的一切。哪怕只是一些微不足道的改变，也会因为日积月累给你带来质的变化。
高效
有一些人，他们看起来很努力，每天兢兢业业地，可是偏偏就是和付出不成正比。他们看起来很努力，其实大部分时间并没有集中精力地用心努力，只是在漫无目的、心浮气躁地“磨洋工”。如果能专心致志地工作，休息时尽量放松，这样不论时工作还是休息都能得到事半功倍的效果。所以最重要的不是努力的时间，而是努力的方法！

很多人说，“我读过很多书，但后来大部分都忘记了，这样的阅读究竟有什么意义？”也许已经记不起来曾经读过什么，但可以肯定的是，它们中的一部分已经成长为身体最重要的部分，形成你做事的格局和气度。从长远看，阅读说决定了你这一生的精神世界是贫瘠还是丰厚，甚至能够改变一个人的命运。你读的那些书，汲取的那些智慧，都会体现在你的脸上，气质里，谈吐上。
坚持
自律、高效、阅读，如果不能坚持下来，就会功亏一篑。只要坚持到底，就会收到超乎想象的结果。成功向来都不容易，它不在于你有多么的聪明，而在于你是否能够持之以恒。总有一天它会盛开如繁花，惊艳我们的生命。坚持下去，走好接下来的每一步路，将来的你无论成败都会感谢今天的你。 |

The FDA has recently approved the following devices to be marketed:
RHA® 2, RHA® 3, and RHA® 4 Dermal Fillers
RHA Dermal Fillers are clear, colorless, injectable gels that can correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. RHA Dermal Fillers come in 3 different formulations: RHA® 2, RHA® 3, and RHA® 4. Each contains hyaluronic acid made using a Streptococcus equi bacterial strain. They also contain a small amount of local anesthetic (lidocaine) to help reduce pain of the injection.
Cheatham Platinum (CP) Stent System (Covered CP Stent and Covered Mounted CP Stent)
The Covered CP Stent is a metal framework covered with cloth to patch a blood vessel tear in patients born with heart defects. This device was approved previously to reopen a blocked or narrowed aorta. The stents are placed using a balloon in balloon (BiB) catheter (a long tube).
TriVisc
TriVisc is a sterile sodium hyaluronate solution that is used to relieve knee pain due to osteoarthritis. It is injected into the knee join to supplement the viscous (thick) fluid in the knee.

Dear CESASC Members, Friends and Students,
On behalf of the Chinese-American Engineers and Scientists Association of Southern California (CESASC) Scholarship Committee, I would like to inform you that the 2018 CESASC Scholarship is open for application. The deadline is February 15, 2018.
All scholarship recipients will be invited to the CESASC Annual Convention and network with professionals in the fields. Graduate student recipients may also be invited to present their research work at the CESASC Annual Convention. Each scholarship recipient will be paired up with a mentor who is a CESASC member.
The awardees will be announced at the end of March, 2018. Awardees must attend in person the annual convention events to receive the awards. Awardees are also required to join CESASC as a member, commit themselves to volunteer at CESASC STEM program (e.g., mentoring middle/high school participants of STEM essay contest), and help organizing future CESASC events and annual conventions. Regardless of the final results, we encourage all applicants stay involved and participate in future CESASC activities, and be part of CESASC family.
Please help us notify your fellow students about this opportunity. We look forward to hearing from all of you.
