I. 自我介绍请包括：在复旦的求学经历、在美求学工作经历、校友会过往参于经历，及其他参选人希望分享的内容。

Hello,
The Santa Barbara Museum of Art is pleased to announce the exhibition Flowers on a River: The Art of Chinese Flower-and-Bird Painting, 1368–1911, Masterworks from Tianjin Museum and Changzhou Museum, is now on view through January 14, 2024. Showcasing masterpieces of Chinese painting spanning 500 years, this exhibition marks the first showing of works traveling from China to the U.S. since the onset of the pandemic. Please see the full release below.
One of the most important highlights in the exhibition is the premier showing of the 42-foot-long monochromatic handscroll painting, Flowers on a River (1697), by the eminent monk artist Zhu Da (also known as Bada Shanren). The Santa Barbara Museum of Art will be the only U.S. venue that enables visitors to view more than 90% of the actual artwork.

季羡林风格：不解释、不辩解、不争论、不反击，大是大非面前有脾气！
季羡林专心学术，在学术上有很高的造诣，他对21世纪世界文化发展趋势，做出两点预测：“21世纪东方文化将再领风骚。”他说：“东西方文化的根本差别在于思维方式不同，东方文化的特点是综合，西方文化的特点是分析。目前流行全世界的西方文化并非历来如此，也绝不可能永远如此，以‘天人合一’为特点的东方文化才能拯救人类。21世纪，将是东方文化的世纪，这是不以人的主观愿望为转移的客观规律。”此话一出舆论大哗。有支持者，但批评者也态度鲜明，视之为文化民族主义，认为“河东河西”的预测根本不值一驳，和算命先生的卦辞差不多。更有激烈者，直斥“季羡林老糊涂了”。于是，大伙儿就等着看论战。谁知老先生一不商榷，二不反驳，而是高挂免战牌，上书三个大字“不争论”。
为什么呢？季羡林认为，这不是一个理论问题，而是一个将由历史发展来证明的事实，没有争论的必要。再加上季羡林从多年的经验教训中悟得：“如果打笔墨官司，则对方也必起而应战。最初，双方或者还能克制自己，说话讲礼貌，有分寸。但是笔战越久，理性越少，最后甚至互相谩骂，人身攻击。到了这个地步，谁还能不强词夺理，歪曲事实呢？这样就离开真理越来越远了。”所以他就像邓小平说的“让事实说话”。 |

当我们索要公平的时候，不得不面临一个残酷现实：世界的本质是不公平，只是偶然碰撞出一些公平贡献给人类。客观世界具有差异的本相。人类自诩强大，但在差异面前无能为力。不确定性决定了世界的差异，自然之力不经意间制造了这些差异和区别，多样化，使得这个世界的各种生态能够繁𧗠下去。所谓公平，只是人类对生存机会和生存资源均等分配的理想。从不确定性原理出发，没有差异，社会就缺乏动力，差异太大，受到生存实际和心理压力的人们便会产生破坏力。
在差异的，不公平的客观世界里，各种偶然性的运行、碰撞和机缘巧合可能会达成某种公平的结果。但这种偶然达成的公平与人类主观感受上所要追求的公平是不一样的事情。人类所要追求的公平理想正是人类文明进步的动力，人们为了这个理想设计了各种行为规范、资源分配制度，既要实现结果的公平，又要接受起点的不公平。无论如何，我们对于公平的理想，都是基于现实世界的不公平，各种所谓实现公平的制度所能实现的不过是人们主观上想象的公平。每一个个体或者群体感受到的公平，极有可能仍然是别人或者另一群体付出的不公平。
人类社会运行的底层法则是偶然性，在偶然性中获得的一切都值得珍惜。 |
