值得鼓励的是：1、美國和古巴領噵人在第七届美洲國家首脑会議上实現時隔愈半個世纪的握手;2、中國和越南領噵人在北京發表了聯合公報成立海上、陸上和金融三個工作组；3、美國主噵TTP跨太平洋戰略經济夥伴關系（The Trans-Pacific Partneship），中國主噵AIIB亞州基础設施投資银行（Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank）之间的和平竞争…
值得担忧的是：1、美日菲加强軍事同盟關系促中俄向准同盟關系的發展；2、亞太地區正在成為世界最先进武器聚集的地區；3、美國的“杞人忧天倾”可能造成日本軍國主義思潮的“借船出海”……
以上這些喜忧参半的中美两大國的中觀國家戰略，何時能、谁能真正體現出國家正确的宏觀戰略的形成，全世界也在拭目以待.

Prof. Peng Lin of the Department of History at Tsinghua University in Beijing has given extensive public lectures in and out of China, including CCTV, on ancient Chinese civilization and Confucianism.
