Job opening:
Executive Director
Summary: Oversees the continued development and maintenance of all operational functions related to the improvement and increase of client online student enrollment and retention.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Assist with the development and structure of affinity marketing strategy
• Review and encourage continued discussion of all academic policies and affiliated procedures
• Oversee the development of a defined Faculty Services department, including the practices for hiring, contract management, training and performance review, particularly as it relates to student satisfaction
• Manage the transition of the academic calendar to a consistent schedule, if necessary
• Monitor the lead generation definition and data, as it relates to partnership tuition share
• Develop and maintain Student Information System improvements, i.e. reporting, internal structure, and its usefulness with regard to process improvement
• Assist with the decision on and implementation of a new SIS system, if necessary
• Review and encourage continued discussion of program structure, i.e. sellability, transferability, and course scheduling
• Monitor the development of a master course schedule and review how it relates to the registration process
• Monitor the application process and improve as necessary
• Review the financial clearance process and oversee departmental growth
• Monitor transfer policy and practice, as needed
• Monitor retention data and review academic advising procedures, as needed
• Review LMS experience, including orientation, tech support and classroom experience, as it relates to student satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned.
Overall Responsibilities:
• Act as the client liaison to third-party service provider
• Monitor quality assurance over all SLA expectations
• Oversee the success of all contracted bundled services
• Minimum commitment to client is 12 months; must travel to client approximately 50% in the first 6 months of engagement
• Coordinate Professional Development Seminars
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in for-profit higher education environment and Online Operations experience. Ideally, candidate has experience in multiple student service departments
Communication: Candidate must interact with a variety of client employees at all levels, from general staff to C-level executives; must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills to C-level executives; must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
