2023 CTA Summer Pass to Online Learning and University Credit
The California Teachers Association 2023 Summer Pass to Online Learning and University Credit is a benefit allowing CTA members to earn university credit during the summer. CTA Members, through attending an in-person conference or watching CTA Virtual Pass sessions, have the opportunity to accumulate the professional growth hours needed to qualify for university credit units with CSU, Chico.
2023 Summer Pass Timelines
Start Date: June 1st, 2023
End Date: August 4th, 2023
As a benefit to members, CTA will cover the $75/unit cost for up to six university credit units available.
The professional growth hours can be accumulated by attending conferences live and/or by watching recordings.
Check with your district HR office or local chapter president to ensure that university credit units can help you advance on your salary schedule.

NCAS wants to connect your community college students to NASA and provide opportunities for community college students to participate in activities following STEM pathways.

Hi, all friends of CSUN China Institute,
Hope you all have a great finish of the Spring semester, and we’re all ready for some relaxing summertime.
Besides the exciting graduation celebrations and commencement activities this weekend, there are also two events I like to bring to your attention. One is Dr. Tung-Po Lin’s memorial this Saturday at 10 AM, “A Celebration of a Life well Loved” at Community Christian Alliance, 15950 Chatsworth St, Granada Hills, CA 91344. Seating starts at 9:30 am. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
On Sunday, the second Pan-Asian Pacific Arts Cultural Festival will be held at the Museum of San Fernando Valley, from 11am to 5pm. Some friends of CSUN China Institute, such as celloist Dr. Janice Foy, will perform at this event. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
I am deeply touched by all the kind words I have heard from many of you. It has been an incredible journey to work with all of you, and I am personally blessed to have made many good friends along the way. we invite you to submit an abstract to MEMRISYS 2023 - the 6th International Conference on Memristive Materials, Devices & Systems, to be held in Torino, Italy from 5th to 9th of November 2023.
Memristor technologies, including memristive, memcapacitive, and meminductive nanodevices, are expected to enable a revolutionary shift in the way electronic systems process information, extending the capabilities of state-of-the-art purely-CMOS computing machines, and resolving their performance limitations, so as to foster progress in integrated circuit design beyond the Moore era. MEMRISYS 2023 will provide a forum to share and discuss the current state-of-the-art development process of memristor technologies.
