APEX/Pacific Asia Museum Fusion Friday Mixer: A Celebration of Asian Art/Culture/Style
APEX and the Pacific Asia Museum are teaming up to bring you a unique cultural mixer featuring the best of Asian style, fashion, culture, art, and music. Our showcase of Asian style and fashion will feature models from a number of the top Asian American pageants and community groups:
• Miss Asia USA
• Miss India America
• Miss Vietnam of Southern California
• Miss Taiwanese American
• Miss Chinatown L.A.
• Los Angeles Area Mongolian Association
Special celebrity host, Vivian Bang, star of TBS new sitcom "Sullivan & Son." Our Fusion Friday Mixer will feature the best of Asian popular music old and new by DJ Jeremy and DJ Dithmar. The Pacific Asia Museum''s current art exhibits will also be open for you to explore!

On September 8th, 2012, APEX will hold its annual awards dinner at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown Hotel in Los Angeles. Our theme this year is "Empowering the Community. Inspiring Change."
The APEX board and membership have reached unprecedented levels, and we continue to strive for excellence in motivating and empowering individuals to not only give back, but to challenge themselves in reaching new heights in both their personal and professional goals. Our annual awards gala will celebrate APEX''s past and present accomplishments in helping to build tomorrow''s leaders in the APA professional community. We will also recognize prominent Asian Pacific Americans who are opening doors for more leaders to rise.
