两枚硬币的分配
1945年10月，一个男孩出生在巴西伯南布哥州的一个农民家庭。 因家里穷，从4岁起，他就得到街上贩卖花生，但仍衣不蔽体食不果腹。上小学后，他常和两个小伙伴在课余时间到街上擦鞋，如果没有顾客就得挨饿。12岁那年的一个傍晚，一家洗染铺的老板来擦鞋，三个小男孩都围了过去。老板看着三个孩子渴求的目光，很是为难。最后，他拿出两枚硬币说：“谁最缺钱，我的鞋子就让他擦，并且支付他两元钱。” 那时擦一双皮鞋顶多20分钱，这十倍的工钱简直就像是天上掉下的馅饼。 三双眼睛发出异样的光芒。“我从早上到现在都没吃东西，如果再没钱买吃的，我可能会饿死。”一个小伙伴说。“我家里已经断粮三天，妈妈又生病了，我得给家人买吃的回去，不然晚上又得挨打……”另一个小伙伴说。可是这个农家的男孩看了看老板手里的两元钱，顿了一会儿，说：“如果这两元钱真的让我挣，我会分给他们一人一元钱！”男孩的回答让洗染铺老板和两个小伙伴大感意外。男孩说：“他们是我最好的朋友，已经饿了一天了，而我至少中午还吃了点花生，有力气擦鞋。您让我擦吧，我一定让您满意。” 老板被男孩感动了，待男孩擦好鞋后，他真的将两元钱付给了男孩。而男孩并不食言，直接将钱分给了两个小伙伴。几天后，老板找到男孩，让男孩每天放学后到他的洗染铺当学徒工，还管晚饭。虽然学徒工工资很低，但比擦鞋强多了。男孩知道，是因为自己向比自己窘困的人伸出援手，才有了改变命运的机会。从此，只要有能力，他都会去帮助那些生活比自己困难的人。后来他辍学进入工厂当工人，为了生活小小年纪已经饱尝人世的艰辛。他21岁加入工会，45岁创立劳工党。2002年，他提出“让这个国家所有的人一日三餐有饭吃”的竞选纲领，赢得了选民的支持，当选总统。2006年，他竞选连任，又再次当选总统，任期4年。8年来，他践行“达则兼济天下”的承诺，使这个国家93%的儿童和83%的成年人一日三餐都得到了食物。 而他带领的巴西也从“草食恐龙”变成了“美洲雄狮”，一跃成为全球第十大经济体。没错，他就是2010年底任期届满而卸任的巴西前总统卢拉。
我们愈关心别人就愈不用担心自己。我们愈不担心自己，我们痛苦的感受就会较不强烈。 |

Call for Papers and Participation
7th Annual International Conference on Mathematics, 17-20 June 2013, Athens, Greece
The Mathematics & Statistics Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER), will hold its 7th Annual International Conference in Athens, Greece, from the 17-20 June 2013. The conference website is www.atiner.gr/mathematics.htm. The registration fee is �300 (euro), covering access to all sessions, two lunches, coffee breaks and conference material. Special arrangements will be made with a local luxury hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise in the Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi. The conference is soliciting papers (in English only) from all areas of Mathematics and other related areas. Selected (peer-reviewed) papers will be published in a Special Volume of the Conference Proceedings. If you think that you can contribute, please submit a 300-word abstract by 19 November 2012, by email, atiner@atiner.gr to: Dr. Vladimir Akis, Head, Mathematics & Statistics Research Unit, Athens Institute for Education and Research & Professor, Department of Computer Science and Department of Mathematics, California State University, Los Angeles, USA. Job Description:
(1)Provide technical support for the sheet metal process;
(2)Manage the examination and direction of technologic implementation during the production process;

Qualifications & Requirements:
(1) Bachelor’s degree and Engineer Certificate holder or above with the major (Machinery / Manufacture / Others);

(3) Have mechanical experience and knowledge of material, be good at production and process,own a unique insight into the IE or relative knowledge.
(4) More than 5 years working experience as a leader of the sheet metal team, can provide the evidence to prove technology breakthrough and outstanding contribution.(communication and co-ordination).

原计划于2012年7月14-15日组团考察南京玄武区，应南京方面的要求，推迟一周到7月21-22日，行程安排不变。报名截止期顺延到7月13日。目前已报名的会员如果时间没有问题的话，无须再报名。协会将于7月16日统一发出正式邀请，并明确行程细节（上海发车地点、联系人等）。计划自行前往南京的会员，请在报名回执时说明，协会将协调安排。
