Once again, it is with great pleasure and pride that I inform you of the availability of AAM Volume 13, Issue 2 (December 2018) of Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM) at the end of its 13th year of existence. This volume, with attached Table of Contents, contains 41 papers contained in 707 pages, making the total of 1272 pages for the year 2018, of peer-reviewed and quality papers (as are the standards of AAM) in all mathematical sciences and operations research. This Issue, as others, can be viewed at http://www.pvamu.edu/aam or http://www.pvamu.edu/mathematics/applications-and-appliled-mathematics-an-international-journal/. The next issue will appear in June of 2019 .In the meantime, two Special Issues of AAM will appear, as well.
To strengthening the credibility of AAM and to prevent plagiarism, AAM is using the Turnitin software.as part of its review process. Dear colleagues,
Following our Movement and Cognition conferences at Oxford University and at Harvard Medical School, we have the honor to invite you to the 2019 world conference on Movement and Cognition at Tel-Aviv University.
The purpose of the conference is to share knowledge on the relation of human movement to cognitive function. Among the focus areas of the conference include applications for: Rehabilitation and therapeutics, sport, motor learning, brain-behavior relationships, gait and cognition, and dance. We are also focusing this time on female cognitive movement interaction, the aging brain and gerontology, treatment of traumatic brain injury, neonatal, infant and child development and ergonomics all in the context of movement and cognition.
The conference will be held on the campus of the University in the vibrant and fascinating city of Tel-Aviv between 22-24 July 2019. Besides the academic, scientific and clinical presentations, tours will also be available.
We welcome your participation in this conference. Should you, in addition, desire to present your research, unique technique or clinical experiences, kindly send us your abstract. This can be done by sending to the attention of the secretary of the scientific committee at: jmerrick@zahav.net.il. The abstracts of the conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings as well as selected papers published in volume 9 of the journal Functional Neurology, Rehabilitation, and Ergonomics.

SOMA 2019 Scientific Assembly Call for Proposals
SOMSA 2019 is May 6-10, 2019 in Charlotte, North Carolina
Submission Deadline: November 1, 2018 (no exceptions)
Click here for the 2019 SOMSA Call for Proposals. NEW THIS YEAR - The Call for Proposals now requests submissions for both Research Abstracts and main Assembly presentations, including Labs. Submission deadline is November 1, 2018 at midnight Pacific time.
The SOMSA Program Committee is seeking proposals for presentations, labs, and research abstracts that address important medical challenges and issues, increase the knowledge and skills of SOF and civilian pre-hospital providers and promote the development of new best practices and technologies.
Proposal submissions will be considered for the following types of sessions:
• General Session: 30-60 minutes
• Pre-Assembly Lab: 2, 4, or 8 hours
• Concurrent Track Session: 30-60 minutes
• Research Abstract (Podium or Poster): 15-20 minutes podium or 60-minute poster session
Proposals for the Assembly should be submitted electronically by Oct. 1, 2018. Unless noted otherwise, only proposals submitted through the online submission site will be considered. Interested parties can also access the online submission site from the SOMA website. Proposals must include:
• Author contact information
• Session title
• A brief description of the topic that will be used in the online brochure
• Session type, and
• Abstract (detailed outline) of no more than 300 words.
Submitters will need to indicate if they are a medic or otherwise, and civilian or military. Submitters of multiple-authored proposals will be asked to provide information for the additional authors.

由孟案看我们理论的危机
英美法系执行的是制定法与判例法相结合的法律，而且司法独立是其三权分立政治制度的重要特点！
这就决定了，我们的危机处理团队必须要抛开中国式的思维模式～通过政治压力来解决司法问题，继续坚持这样做，其结果很可能会既打自己的脸又在局部问题上深陷泥潭。
现在，我们国家重要企业的精英被“软禁”于海外，政府的“强烈要求”不被理睬，中国扣人的反制措施又可能激活世界的反华呼声，中国企业走向世界的阻力骤然增大。
斗争哲学不是一个聪明的现代社会国际交往之路，越斗越狠越是树敌众多四面楚歌。这已有战斗民族的普大帝的先车困局为例。而跪求与退让的韬光养晦也面临跪而难求、退无可退的窘境。
我认为，在孟案上，华为团队的危机处理也很失败！先是急于否认被抓了人，造成企业严重诚信危机；后是政策研判和与政府的政治行动协调失败，造成目前长期僵持局面；应急司法救助失败，造成孟案司法应对乏力。
中国人的政治智慧很多来源于先人的古典成例，而现代社会更多是以后工业革命时期形成的完整的西方思想理念、政治体制、经济结构和相对独立的司法体系为基础的新理念。
这是两种互不相融的不同的社会生态方式，过去制敌有效的“三板斧”现在拿到海外不灵了，显得很笨拙。这是为什么？这是我们在理论上缺乏创新和革新，不能适应中国走向世界和与整个世界高度依存的今天现实。
改革开放40年来，我们自己已经做足了内功。短短几十年间，我就站在了一个让我们自己都坐立不安的可怕的高度和广度。现在已经是需要全世界的资源来维系我们的庞大经济体量，需要全世界的市场来消化我们广泛产品，需要全世界范围来消化我们过剩的产能，更是需要全世界范围全面应对各种危机维权护利推进泛民族利益。
我们现在一下子就从几千年来的比较封闭的国家跨入了世界性大国，我们的几乎所有过去的理论基础都是建立在经典的以国为本的基石上的，现在已经不再适应目前和今后的体量与欲求。
根本上说，需要建立起一套更新的理论框架来应对当前世界的新形势。我们现在缺乏的是建设一种后邓小平时代的新的高端政治学术理论，以此理论来指导各政治经济司法团队的协调行动，才能卓有成效的完成我们现在世界性国家的各种多因素组合任务。 |

5G國際標準：中國佔21項，美國9項，歐洲14項，日本4項，韓國2項。各國加緊5G研發，全球需要建立一個統一的5G標準，從上面數據來看，中國訂立的全球5G標準，幾乎是其它各國加起來的總和。
設備提供：華為是世界排名第一的電信設備提供商，中興第四；
網絡建設：中國4G站點高達350萬個，而同為大國的美國、印度才幾十萬個；
終端設備：以手機為例，全球十大智能手機品牌，中國佔了7個。5G時代將是智能時代，以智能家居為例，中國智能家居產品的研發數量遠超蘋果、谷歌；

芯片：華為麒麟芯片，技術位居世界前列，而且將很快支持5G。下一步，華為的芯片公司將很可能像PC時代的intel，移動時代的高通、聯發科一樣，成為5G時代的芯片巨頭。中國5G技術已在全球領先，而中國的5G技術又以華為為主。看完上面的這些內容，相信你也明白了，為什麼美國會打擊華為了。
5G技術，它不僅僅是速度提高、讓你下載一部藍光電影只需要一秒這麼簡單，它將完完全全改變我們的社會。5G能讓萬物互聯，再結合智能技術，將讓我們進入智能時代，包括智能家居、智能交通、智能醫療、智能教育，等等。PC時代，改變的是信息傳播方式；手機移動時代，改變的是服務、生活；5G時代，將完完全全改變我們的社會。這是一場新的社會變革，帶來的是一個國家社會、經濟、科技的全面進步。打擊華為，正是想狙擊中國高科技技術的進步，從而遏制中國社會、經濟、科技的發展，這其中表現得最為積極的正是「五眼聯盟」組織（美英加新澳）。華為能有今天，任正非絕對居功至偉，甚至可以這樣說，假如沒有任正非，還會不會有今天的華為。

美國在市場上打不倒華為，就採用了綁票其家人的卑鄙手段，而且還是一個國家的國家行為，這很類似於白色恐怖，以後任何一個人去美國，都要先考慮好自己的人身安全。即使是江湖黑道，都懂得「禍不及家人」的道理，但美、加堂堂兩個國家，居然從國家層面搞出這種連土匪都不恥的行徑，當真無恥至極。西方以強盜起家，😏美國人當年進入美洲大陸，當它們疲乏至極奄奄一息之時，印第安人拿出了自己最美味的食品與飲水進行分享，但當那幫人活過來後，他們在感恩節對印第安人上演了大屠殺😩，這便是西方的本質。西方在全球搶奪了上百年，直到今天，雖然他們已經穿了西裝打上了領帶，自詡文明，但猴子穿上了人衣，更像禽獸。只不過現在，它們連這點最後的偽裝都撕了下來。中美較量在未來將會成為常態，這已是普遍的共識。我們不想惹事，但若有人一定要將麻煩強加到我們頭上，試問，中國人在這5000年里，怕過誰？ |
