6th Annual International Conference on Mathematics, Statistics and Education (Teaching) Mathematics and Statistics, 11-14 June 2012, Athens, Greece
Dr. Gregory T. Papanikos (President of the Athens Institute for Education and Research & Visiting Professor, University of Strathclyde, U.K.) and Dr. Vladimir Akis, Head, Mathematics & Statistics Research Unit, Athens Institute for Education and Research & Professor, Department of Computer Science and Department of Mathematics, California State University, Los Angeles, USA would like to invite you to submit a proposal for presentation at the 6th Annual International Conference on Mathematics, Statistics and Education (Teaching) Mathematics and Statistics, 11-14 June 2012, Athens, Greece organized by the Mathematics and Statistics Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER). The registration fee is 300 (euro), covering access to all sessions, two lunches, coffee breaks and conference material. Special arrangements will be made with a local luxury hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of social events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise in the Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi. The conference is soliciting papers (in English only) from all areas of Mathematics, Statistics, Education (Teaching) Math and Education (Teaching) Statistics. Selected (peer-reviewed) papers will be published in a Special Volume of the Conference Proceedings. If you think that you can contribute, please send an abstract of about 300 words, via email only (atiner@atiner.gr), before the 21st of November 2011. Please include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Current Position, Institutional Affiliation, an email address, and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Announcement of the decision is made within 4 weeks after submission, which includes information on registration deadlines and paper submission requirements. If you want to participate without presenting a paper, i.e. chair a session, organize a panel, evaluate papers to be included in the conference proceedings or books, contribute to the editing of a book, or any other contribution, please send an email to Dr. Gregory T.
